How to Enable or Disable Notifications?

Meetmate gives you full control over the notifications you receive! Here’s what you can do:

1. Choose the types of invitations you want to receive:
   Don’t like the beach or restaurants? No problem! You can select which types of invitations you’d like to receive and disable the rest.

2. Activate "Sleep" mode for the app:
   By toggling off the "Show me in Meetmate" option, you can temporarily pause all activity and notifications.

3. Manage message notifications:
   You can mute notifications for all chats, including group chats from communities, to focus without distractions.

 

To access these settings, go to "Menu" → "Settings" → "Notifications."

It’s easy to customize your experience and keep Meetmate working just the way you like! 

 

 How to Adjust the Distance?

You can customize the distance to:

​

• View places on your map based on your location.

• Receive invitations from users within your preferred range.

 

To adjust this setting, go to "Settings" → "Distance." You can choose a minimum of 1,000 meters and a maximum of 3,000 meters.

 

 How to Change the Language?

​

Currently, Meetmate offers two language options: English and Spanish. Since Meetmate operates exclusively in the United States, we’re just starting to grow as a family.

We promise that in the near future, we’ll not only expand globally but also add support for a wide range of languages. Our goal is to ensure everyone can enjoy the app in the language that suits them best.

 How to Delete Your Account?

We know it’s hard to say goodbye, but we respect every user’s decision. If you wish to delete your account, it’s a simple process:

​

1. Go to "Settings" → "Delete Account."

2. Confirm the action when prompted. You’ll be reminded that this decision is irreversible.

 

Once confirmed, all your information will be permanently deleted, and the app will return you to the login screen.
